$25,000 Match Challenge
Thanks to the generosity of a beloved MSI coach and parent who has been part of our community for decades, every dollar donated to the Meet the Moment Fund between now and December 31, 2025, will be matched, up to $25,000.
While he prefers to stay anonymous, he wanted to share some of his thoughts:
“As a parent and volunteer coach, I’ve seen firsthand how soccer can bring out the best in our kids. That's why I’m committing $25,000 to scholarships—and I'm challenging our community to come together to match it. Together, we can make sure cost never keeps a kid off the field.”

For more than 50 years, Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI) has helped children and families experience soccer as a connector to life lessons, growth opportunities, and one another.
Across this county that we all call home, our families are facing unprecedented financial pressures, and for many, youth sports are often one of the first expenses to go. At the same time, MSI—like so many community nonprofits—is working to sustain the programs that connect young players, provide essential positive physical and mental health outlets when they need it most, and help balance the sustained strains and stress of this time.
That is why we’ve launched the Meet the Moment Fund—a community-driven initiative to ensure that no child is sidelined due to financial hardship. Through our new fund, we’ll expand scholarships and offset registration costs for families facing challenges.

A critical part of meeting this moment requires listening so we can better understand how MSI is supporting your family through our existing programs, and how we can support you even better in the coming year.
Whether you can give or not,
we invite you to share your voice through our new community-wide survey. The survey is open between now and December 31 and will take less than 10 minutes to complete. Feedback will guide our work and ensure we are meeting the needs of our players and families.
Results of the survey will be shared in late February.
