2026-27 Travel Fees

The fees do not include the cost of the uniform, which ranges from $350 to $400. The uniform fee includes the home and away jersey, shorts, and socks; the training jersey, shorts, and socks; warm-up pants, a pullover, and a backpack. Uniforms run on a two-year cycle, so all players will purchase new uniforms for the 2026-2027 season but will use them for two years. 


When registering, you will have an option to pay in full or in installments. All payment plans will consist of a non-refundable $400 acceptance fee. The acceptance fee is the first installment if choosing the installment plan. All installment plans will consist of 4 or 5 installments, depending on the age group. 

*Certain Gold teams that play in EDP Division 3 or higher will train 3 days a week. If a Gold team trains 2 days a week, the fee will be the same as the other teams.

Travel Program 2026 – 2027 Services/What fees cover 

  • Gold teams U13 and older train 3 nights a week (2 turf, 1 grass) in fall and spring. Winter will be 2 nights a week due to field space and cold weather. 
  • U8-U12 teams: the third night all players are together for an age group training session on Fridays, the focus is on analytic activities. This can be done in fall, winter, and spring 
  • All other teams train 2 nights a week on turf
  • Teams can train an additional night on grass for an extra fee of $200 per player. Need at least 80% of the team willing to do so. Scholarship players will pay a fee equivalent to their scholarship amount. For example, if they receive 60% off the travel fees, they would pay an extra $80. 
  • Additional clinics – all offered on 1 off training night a week 
  • S & C with PFP in fall and spring. Reduced rate option over the winter. Open to U10 and older teams.

  • VEOs (every coach for teams aged u11 and older gets his/her own Veo) – allows for the majority of games and practices to be filmed. U8 – U10 get age group Veos for about 50% of games filmed. Veos for U8 and U9 teams do not have analytics 
  • Reduced rate for HS Prep (3x/week starting in July) (U14 to U19 teams) 
  • Reduced fees for MCPS day off camps

What fees do not cover

  • Uniforms – uniforms are purchased on a 2-year cycle. The 2026-2027 season is not a new uniform buy year, but all players new to MSI Travel are required to buy the full uniform set which costs between $350 - $400 and includes the home and away uniforms, the practice uniforms, warm up gear, and a backpack. 
  • External winter leagues: any league a team chooses to participate in that is not the MSI winter league is the financial and administrative responsibility of the team
  • Coach travel: MSI does not cover hotels, meals, or gas mileage for games or away tournaments 
  • Registration/Credit Card fees through Playmetrics
