Recreation Player Registration: Fall 2019 Season

Registration information for Spring 2020 will post on this page on or about November 12 or 13.

Fall 2019 Registration Fees

Through June 18, 2019:       $ 92     ($10 early registration discount will be taken off at check-out)
June 19 - July  31, 2019:      $102
Beginning August 1, 2019:  $107

Fall 2019 Important Dates

June 18:  On Time Deadline for Returning Players
August 1: Last day to transfer between MSI programs or request a refund
September 7/8:  Opening Weekend
October 26/27:  Last weekend of scheduled games (for most conferences)
November 2/3 and November 9/10:  Rain-dates (and possible scheduled games for certain conferences).

Remember to register the player for their Fall 2019 grade.   

Returning Player Guarantee
Players who played on a Spring 2019 MSI Recreational team, and who register by the June 18 returning player deadline, have the option of choosing to return to that team for the Fall 2019 season. Please select “Yes” when you see the following registration question: “Would you like to return to last season’s team?  

Transfer Player Requests
If you would like to request a transfer to a different MSI Recreational team, please select “No” to the question “Would you like to return to your Spring 2019 team?” The next item on the registration form will be “New and transfer players, what is your team placement request?".  You should type in the name of the coach for the team you would like, or any other information that would be helpful.  Please note, players will be placed back on their Spring 2019 team roster until transfer requests are addressed during the month of July.

Requests for Financial Aid
Players wishing to apply for financial aid must register in person at the MSI office, and must submit a current copy of the player’s Montgomery County Public Schools Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS) program voucher at the time of registration. (A form must be submitted every season)

Online Payment is by Credit Card only
If you wish to pay by check or cash, we can accept these payments and complete registrations in person at the MSI office. 

Coach and Volunteer Registration
Coaches and team volunteers must re-register each season.  To register go to the recreation tab, registration, adult coaches/volunteers.

Withdrawal and Refunds
To withdraw from the MSI recreational program, please send an email to [email protected] with the header "Withdrawal". Include in the email the following information:

  • Name of the child being withdrawn
  • Age group of the child being withdrawn
  • Reason for withdrawal

Refund requests received by August 1 will be assessed a $15 administrative fee. After August 1 there will be no refunds for Fall 2019.
