Kindergarten Program Registration and General Information

Spring 2018 Kindergarten Program registration is now open!! Please read the following information in its entirety before you click on the registration link below.

Effective with the opening of the Spring 2018 Recreational Program registration, MSI will be using the “Bonzi” (a Blue Star Sports company) registration and database system for all MSI programs. (Korrio ceased doing business in September 2017.) Upon their first registration in the Bonzi system, parents will be asked to create a family account before beginning their registration for the Recreational program itself. When creating your family account, please be certain to include information yourself as the primary account owner. After you are done setting up your member account, you will then be able to begin registering your child or children for the Spring 2018 Recreational Program.

Here are instructions to set up your family account and complete your registration:

1) Click on the registration link below. You will be directed to the member login page.
2) Click on the right hand tab "Create a new Bonzi Account" and enter the requested information to start to create your family account. Click on the sign in button.
3) Complete the parent 1 and parent 2 information (if applicable).
3) Click on the "continue to register players" button at the bottom of the page.
4) Select the Kindergarten program registration and follow the prompts to complete your registration.

The Program
MSI offers its very popular recreational program for Kindergarteners with an emphasis on fun-based games and skills development. Children are formed into groups that are based on school communities to the extent possible, and do not play an organized league schedule. They also do not have practice during the week. Rather, each Saturday involves small group training/skills development games, led by an MSI staff coach, followed by informal  small-sided game play. These activities are designed to promote individual skill development and enjoyment of the game, with a top level objective of many smiling faces!

Location and Schedules
The Kindergarten Program is held at central Montgomery County locations.

Time Commitment
The time commitment for the Kindergarten Program is for one (1) hour on Saturdays, typically between 9:00am and 1:00pm. The sessions start every half hour; i.e. 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, etc. The time of the session may shift every weekend but the location will ALWAYS be the same for the entire season.  Weekly sessions consist of 25 minutes of fun-based skills development and 25 minutes of fun-based scrimmage play.

Group assignments will be finalized and posted on this web page approximately two weeks prior to opening day. Kindergarteners are formed into groups based upon their current elementary school, unless otherwise requested in the registration.  If you'd like for your Kindergartener to play with a particular friend, please indicate that in the "group request" field in the registration.  We do separate boys and girls as much as possible.

MSI Kindergarten shirts will be handed out at the first session upon arrival for check-in. In addition all Kindergarteners should wear proper soccer attire, which includes shin guards and cleats (or regular tennis shoes). Each player should bring a size 3 soccer ball, a water bottle, and a great big smile on their face!
