A Level of Play for Everyone

High School Summer 4v4

The High School Summer 4v4 program is open to all high school students, including those who will be entering 9th grade in the fall and seniors who graduated in the spring.
The Summer 2018 program runs on Thursday evenings for five weeks from July 5th through August 2nd (rain date August 9th) from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Sessions will be held at Fernwood LP (Woods Academy school - 6801 Greentree Rd, Bethesda). Games are played on fields that are approximately 30 yards wide and 40 yards long. Pop-up goals serve as goals. MSI provides an on-site manager each Thursday, but there are no referees. The players administer the rules themselves.

The purpose of the program is to have fun; allow more touches on the ball for each player; learn the dynamics of movement off the ball to provide constant front, rear, and side support, and runs into space; provide all players on a team with the opportunity, and the necessity, to participate and grow through more involvement; and provide opportunities for players to grow as leaders.
The program fee is $25 which covers the costs of administering the program and providing adult supervision. We hope you can join us for a summer of soccer fun!
